Rob Seeley is a two-term Canmore Town Councillor and long-time community leader with more than 25 years of active involvement in local initiatives. He brings a proven record of collaboration, experience, and integrity.
A resident of Canmore since the early 1990s, Rob established and ran a small business here for nearly three decades, employing local people and contributing to the community’s economic vibrancy. He continues to serve as a dedicated volunteer, including his recent role as President of the Rotary Club of Canmore (2024–2025).
Rob is passionate about building a strong, inclusive future for Canmore. He has been a consistent advocate for attainable housing—personally building a Canmore Community Housing Vital Homes suite in his own home—and he continues to support initiatives that give residents and families the opportunity to thrive locally. His focus on responsible growth, housing, and community engagement reflects his belief that Canmore’s future must balance progress with protection of the small-town character and natural environment that make it unique.
With a deep understanding of both municipal governance and community needs, Rob is committed to working collaboratively with residents, businesses, and council colleagues to ensure decisions reflect the best interests of Canmore today and for generations to come.
